Now, IGNOU University has started to provide a 10 digit enrollment number for those who are admitted in the January 2022 session or later. Previously it was 9 digits but now it is replaced with 10 digits. If you are a new student at IGNOU University then you may face difficulties to find your registration or admission status from the IGNOU portal because it may tell you to enter 9 digits enrollment number instead of 10 digits.
