IGNOU Grade Card Status 2022: IGNOU Grade Card 2022 is now available to download. India Gandhi National Open University has announced its results for all the respective students of IGNOU University. Students of IGNOU can check their Grade Card Status from the official website of India Gandhi National Open University, or we have provided the procedure below to check the status of Grade Card for IGNOU Students.

If a student of IGNOU has attended the previous Term End Examination then he/she can check his/her Grade Card in which details about the marks obtained by the candidate are mentioned. The grade Card for December 2022 examinations has been updated.

Respective students can check it. As the exams for IGNOU students are held twice a year. Those candidates who had given the term-end exams for BA, BCOM, BCA, MCA, MCOM, BDP, BDP, B.ED, B.SC, M.SC can check their Grade Card which consists of the score they have got in exams.

Generally, Grade Card shows the status for each examination which is as Completed and Not Completed. If your Grade Card shows Completed for any particular subject that means you have successfully passed out that subject in terms of exam & practical both.

And if your Grade Card is showing Not Completed for any particular subject that means your grade card is still under process or you have failed for that particular subject. If you are failed in that subject, then you will have to submit Assignments for that subject again to qualify that subject.

IGNOU Grade Card shows you the grades you have scored in the exams and it will also display you your assignment marks. If your Grade Card shows Completed for any particular subject that means you have successfully qualified for that product and now you don’t need to worry about that subject as you have passed in that subject.
 
Grade Card keeps updated on a regular basis once your assignments are submitted. If your Grade Card shows Not Completed that means you still need to appear for that particular subject or your assignments are not properly submitted for that subject. IGNOU Grade Card Status June 2022

India Gandhi National Open University’s Grade Card for December 2022 examination is now officially available on ignou.ac.in. Ignou Results and Grade Card both are different terms. So make sure that you check both of them. Grade Card will show you your assignments marks, practical marks and theory marks.

Finally, it will show you whether you have qualified or not for the subject. Once you have checked the Grade Card, then you can check your results too which will show you the marks you have appeared in your term-end examinations.

To check the status of your Ignou Grade Card, you will require your nine-digit enrollment number. So before checking the grade card make sure that you remember your enrollment number. Without enrollment numbers, grade cards cannot be checked.

Each student has his/her unique enrollment number which is issued by Indira Gandhi National Open University. Once you are ready with your enrollment number then visit the Ignou Grade Card’s link below and choose your course and enter your nine-digit enrollment number then hit the submit button. After that, your Grade Card will be shown on your desktop screen. Take the printout of it for further reference.

Now, what your grade card status indicates?

In the grade card you might have seen texts like the following:
  • Completed
  • Not Completed
  • Asgn1
  • Course Code
  • Term End Theory
  • Term End Practical etc.

Completed:

If your grade card status for a particular course has been updated as Completed, that means you have successfully passed that particular course both in the assignment and term-end examination. You do not need to write an examination again for that particular course.

Note: Do not get confused between course and programme. A programme has two or more courses. For instance, BA is your programme and under this programme, you can have different courses like FEG-01, FEG-02, EPS-11 etc. Your grade card indicates the status of each course.

Not completed:

It means you might have failed in the term-end examination or assignment. Another possibility is that your might have not submitted an assignment for that particular course. If the problem is with the assignment, submit it within the stipulated time. IGNOU has made assignment submission compulsory before the last date indicated in the assignment questions for writing the term-end examination.

Note: Do not get confused between term-end marks or grades with that of marks or grades in the grade card. In your grade card, each mark has been converted out of a hundred.

Check IGNOU Grade Card Status

  • At first visit https://webservices.ignou.ac.in/GradecardR/
  • Now enter your nine digit enrollment number there.
  • Choose the programme for which you are appearing.
  • Click on the Submit button.

  • Take the printout of the Grade Card for further reference.

IGNOU Correlate Letter Grade.

In the grade card of Ignou, there are three types of grades such as Letter Grade, Qualitative Level and Point Grade. Assignments and Term End Exams have different types of the score which are prescribed as below. A student will be scored as “Z” if he/she has not written anything in the examination.

Letter Grade: It has scored from A to E and the candidates get their place in the letter according to their score from the point. Each grade letter has its interpretation of ‘qualitative level’.

Qualitative Level: Let’s suppose that a student has completed a subject with an “A” grade then he will be placed as “Excellent” in his qualitative level. Candidates those who score in ‘qualitative level’ as A-excellent, B-Very good, C-Good, D-Satisfactory, and E-Unsatisfactory.

Point Grade: Highest point grade is 5 and it comes at the last position. Points are considered as the score in that particular assignment and examination. Its score is below 5 points, it is ‘excellent’, 4-very good, 3-good, 2-satisfactory, and 1-unsatisfactory.
